ISEL transmission equipment group manufactures Mecha-lock and coupling based on "RoHS" (from July.2006) and "Japan Green Procurement Survey Standardization Initiative" (from March.2004 suggested by JGPSSI) for environment protection.
We supply the products which are developed and designed with consideration for the environment to protect the earth environment. Also every supply manufactures are manage to built the network for substances. Therefore substances information have high reliability and to respect the law of RoHS.
All ISEL's Mecha-lock and coupling products are suitable for 6 substances of RoHS.

The "survey report for the certification of the control of information regarding chemical substances included in products" was published in March 2004 by the Committee for researching certification systems for controlling information regarding chemical substances included in products by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The report included a draft was that it is imperative that there be standardization of the systems for controlling chemical substances with in the products of each company in order to insure information reliability.

What is "Green procurement activities"?

Manufactures are realizing the importance of green procurement- giving priority to the purchase of the products with minimum environmental impact and creating a recycling society. There is the case the company has ISO14001 has priority to procure.

What is RoHS?

RoHS
Short of "Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment".
The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment". This Directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.

  1. Purchase the item form supplier, which activate for environment protection.
  2. Select the items which are minimum impact on environment material, parts, and products based on low on promoting green purchasing.
    • Electroless nickel plating --- Changed to electroless nickel plating with lead free.
    • Surface treatment of screws with hexavalent chromium compounds. --- Changed to chromium fee surface treatment of screw.
  3. Hiroshima factory has applied for ISO14001.
