Million guide installation

GNG series

  1. Drilling a post and bush installation hole
    installation holeInstallation hole must be drilled (φD -0.025 - -0.035、φDS +0.04 - +0.07） in selected tolerance of guide post and bush.

    (Note)
    Completely remove the burrs at the mouth of the installation hole with oil stone etc.
  1. Guide post installation
    After cleaning the installation hole, pull the post with a bolt and fix it with press fit. Check the post perpendicularity (0.01mm/100mm or less).

  1. Bush installation
    • Combine the post and the bush. Make sure the counter marks and the specific numbers are correspondent between the post and the bush.
    • Place the parallel base block on the die holder, put the punch holder on it, then slide the bush up and down and check there is no interference in bush slide.
    • After cleaning the bush outer diameter and the installation hole inner diameter with some solvent, apply anaerobic adhesive (Loctite 638 recommended) to the adhesive flute portion of the bush, insert the bush into the installation hole to the regulated position and dry the adhesive (3 to 6 hours under normal temperature).

  1. Drilling a post and bush installation hole
    Installation hole must be drilled (φD -0.005 - -0.01, φDS +0.04 - -0.07） in selected tolerance of guide post and bush.
  2. Guide post installation
    Guide post installationAfter cleaning the installation hole, install the guide post with press fit.
    Degree of right angle of the post must be checked (0.01mm/100mm or less)

    • Combine the post and the bush. Make sure the counter marks and the specific numbers are correspondent between the post and the bush.
    • Place the parallel base block on the die holder, put the punch holder on it, then slide the bush up and down and check there is no interference in bush slide.
    • After cleaning the bush outer diameter and the installation hole inner diameter with some solvent, apply anaerobic adhesive (Loctite 638 recommended) to the adhesive flute portion of the bush, insert the bush into the installation hole to the regulated position and dry the adhesive (3 to 6 hours under normal temperature). Install the die plate in the same way of the punch plate installation.

    (*)Drill the installation hole for the bush of the ball guide side with reference to the operation manual of the bush manufacturer.

Z-axis guide installation

GNZ series

  1. Drilling a post and bush installation hole

    • Tap 4 φZPP, φZBP at the post & the bush installation plate.
  2. Post installation

    • Determine the counter mark direction for easy recognition.
    • Fix the post to the installation hole of the plate with the specific bolts.
    • The post perpendicularity must be checked (0.01mm/100mm or less).

    • Combine the post and the bush. Make sure the counter marks and the specific numbers are correspondent.
    • Place the parallel base block on the plate of the post side, put the plate of the bush side on it and fit it to the installation hole.
    • Fix the bush to the plate with the specific bolts.
